Tuition and Fees

Tuition for the 2018-2019 school year totals $8,140. International Student tuition is $10,175. Tuition is subject to change each subsequent year.  Families that elect to pay the tuition in full before August 1st will receive a $200 discount per family. For families electing to use the monthly payment plan, a schedule of level monthly payments will be established. Typically, tuition is divided into 11 months starting June and ending in April of the following year.

The 11-month tuition payment will be ($740 per month) for domestic students; international student payment is $925.

Registration Fee/Re-enrollment Fee:
All students must apply for enrollment each year. There is no family discount for the registration fee and it is non-refundable once the applicant has been enrolled into The Academy.

Registration/Re-Enrollment Fee per student

  • $600 per student per year

Included in Registration fee:  Application fee, standard testing fees, student accident insurance, PTC dues per child, all Archdiocesan fees, TCCED fees, activity fees, and graduation fees.   One annual yearbook per family is also included, as well as individual senior class rings. The fee also replaces any mandatory fundraising/ volunteer requirements often required by other schools.

Items not part of the registration fee include:

  • Classroom or grade-based field trips, individual membership dues in the Junior and National Honor Society, club and sports fees.
  • Advanced Placement testing costs for upper school students.
  • Ren-Web application and enrollment package. ($35.00)

International Student Fee:  International Students are charged an additional fee of $500 for registration to assist with the processing of the I-20 Form and related issues.

Optional School Lunch Program
The Academy contracts with an external vendor, Wholesome Tummies Cafe, for the provision of food services, http://wtcafe.com/san-antonio-north/.

Other Costs
Extracurricular activities may assess a cost for dues or to cover the costs of articles attributable directly to the student.

Textbooks and Supplies
Textbooks are the responsibility of families and are the property of the students.  An online system for purchasing books is available and it is the responsibility of our families to purchase needed items.  Books may be purchased new or used (when available), from this vendor or others. Workbooks (consumables) are purchased through the school at a discounted rate.  Supplies are purchased by the student and replaced throughout the year.
